Job Description
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Mead & Hunt is looking for a water resources engineer
to serve in a technical role on combined sewer system and wastewater
collection system projects for the Midwest Civil/Hydrodynamics
Department. As a result, we have a full-time position available for a
Water Resources Engineer with a background in collection system design
and/or modeling to join our team. Responsibilities include assisting
with wastewater and stormwater collection system evaluation, planning,
and design projects to solve municipal collection system problems
related to combined and sanitary sewer overflows, flooding, collection
system aging, and water quality. Occasional travel will be required. The
successful candidate must have all of the following: Bachelor\'s degree
(or higher) in civil, environmental or related engineering degree from
an accredited college or university At least two years of relevant work
experience, including collection system analysis or design experience
The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following: EIT
certification Combined sewer system, CSO reduction, wastewater
conveyance or stormwater conveyance experience Experience with AutoCAD
Civil 3D Hydrologic/hydraulic modeling experience using software such as
PCSWMM, EPASWMM, ICM InfoWorks, or similar is preferred Strong
organizational skills Ability to think critically and thoroughly Ability
to work independently and take self-initiative If you have strong
communication and organizational skills, are self-motivated, and can
