Construction Manager

A Construction Manager is needed for an American multinational technology company that develops, manufactures, licenses, supports, and sells computer software, consumer electronics, personal computers, and related services in the Boydton, VA area. The Construction MEP Engineer leads mission-critical data center MEP field activities by ensuring safety, quality, and alignment with engineering standards, project timelines, and cost objectives through coordination with internal teams and subcontractors.

responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and manufacture MEP devices and systems.
  
  
• Evaluate design proposals and specifications for cost/time feasibility.
  
  
• Diagnose equipment failures and advise maintenance crews.
  
  
• Support drafters in creating structural product designs using appropriate tools and software.
  
  
• Requires strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  
  
• Must have a background in data center design, controls, engineering, and operations.
  
  
• Deep expertise in mechanical and electrical systems (MEP).
  
  
• Leads all field-related MEP activities on mission-critical projects.
  
  
• Coordinates execution with DCD Project Manager and subcontractors.
  
  
• Ensures each project meets Data Center Development (DCD) guidelines and evolving best practices.
