We are excited to hire for a Marketing Project Manager who is a meticulous individual to join the Creative & Content team in Marketing. The Marketing Project Manager specializes in the initiating, planning, management, and execution of all marketing creative projects for the Plumbing and HVAC businesses within Ferguson.
This role is responsible for going beyond checking the boxes and contributing at every stage of the project lifecycle. The project manager is accountable for delegating tasks to project team members, connecting partners, capturing all project details, and ensuring marketing projects are completed on time, on brand and accomplishing brief objectives.
This exciting role provides you with the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, running multiple projects at once. This position is a remote role and can be based anywhere in the United States.
Location:
This is a hybrid role based out of Newport News, VA or Chico, CA, in accordance with the Ferguson flex schedule; 3 days in office/2 days remote. Remote work option for the ideal candidate.
Responsibilities:
Lead, plan and oversee creative projects, including campaigns with channel activation teams ensuring all project goals and requirements are met and completed on schedule and within budget.
Maintain continuous contact with partners, coordinating assets and providing overall project alignment.
Gather information and connect partners to create a successful project plan for each request, ensuring all project details (brief, etc.) are set, documented, and agreed upon prior to creative kickoff.
Develop and support all project-related documentation (project scope, budget, requirements, project timelines & internal meetings, etc.).
Onboard and educate other individuals essential to the project.
Ensure partners and management are satisfied with the proposed marketing campaigns.
Collaborate with copywriters and graphic designers to complete creative projects that are on brand and meet brief objectives.
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the company, different business units, products, and client base to implement effective marketing campaigns
Develop and maintaining strong working relationships with internal partners and external vendors
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, management, marketing, or a related field.
5 years experience with project management theory and best practices.
Knowledge of HVAC and residential trade a plus.
Understanding of art life cycle and working with designers and copywriters and in marketing project management idea.
Competent in reviewing/writing creative briefs.
Ability to juggle multiple projects at once in a fast-paced, results oriented environment.
Effective horizontal leader who can motivate the team and delegate work.
Excellent organizational, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Good communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Upbeat and optimistic.
Proficient in Excel, Office 365 including SharePoint.
Workfront data management experience is preferred or related field.
Project management certification is a plus.
Superior customer service, communications, and follow-up skills.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to communicate with customers, vendors and team members. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
Ability to creatively solve and present good solutions to problems.

Pay Range:

$4,124.70 - $6,783.70-
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
