Job Description
Operate heavy equipment such as**excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, backhoes, and skid steers**.
- Perform**site preparation, earthmoving, trenching, grading, and backfilling**.
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Follow**project blueprints, plans, and specifications**to complete work accurately.
- Conduct**pre-operational inspections**and routine maintenance checks on equipment.
- Ensure compliance with**OSHA safety standards**and company policies.
- Work with site supervisors, laborers, and other team members to complete projects on time.
- Identify and report any mechanical issues or needed repairs.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
**Experience operating heavy equipment**in construction, excavation, or utility work (2+ years preferred).
Knowledge of**grading, excavation, and trenching techniques**.
