Note: The hourly rate for this position is $25 - $34 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:

  • Hours: Monday - Friday
  • Perform welding tasks on metal components using techniques such as MIG, TIG, or stick welding
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine welding requirements and specifications
  • Prepare metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, and aligning parts
  • Inspect welds for quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear to ensure a safe working environment
  • Maintain and clean welding equipment and tools
  • Record and report any issues or discrepancies in welding tasks

Qualifications:

  • 6G certification and OSHA 10 Certification or a willingness to obtain it
  • Previous welding experience required with x-ray
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Knowledge of different welding techniques and materials
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to work safely and follow safety protocols
  • Good manual dexterity and physical stamina
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Prior experience in the commercial field required
  • Prior experience using hand tools required
  • Position may require a drug screen
