Entry-level Production Operator Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Entry-level Production Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for operating drum and tote filling requirements, ensuring the correct drums are chosen for conveyance, and labeling containers according to customer specifications. Your role will involve checking empty containers, adding dye to drums, shipping drum/totes, and managing inventory. You will also be responsible for repackaging drums, performing pipeline inspections, executing work orders, and maintaining quality control standards. Responsibilities Operate drum and tote filling requirements. Choose the correct drums to roll onto conveyors. Stencil and label containers per customer requirements. Check empty containers and add dye to drums. Handle drum/tote shipping, pulling full drums from line and placing them in appropriate locations. Repackage drums and pump drums to flush tank. Maintain customer requirements for quality control. Perform daily inspections of pipelines and valves. Carry out minor maintenance activities. Execute operating orders, work orders, and other associated documents. Collaborate with team members to achieve work tasks. Problem solve and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Use personal protective equipment properly. Perform daily housekeeping as required. Essential Skills Ability to multi-task effectively. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Additional Skills & Qualifications Forklift operating experience. Previous experience in a warehouse setting, preferably in an industrial plant environment. Why Work Here? You will be required to wear steel-toed boots and flame-resistant clothing, with steel toes provided after a certain period. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
