Full job description Overview: We are seeking a talented Project Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for architectural design, construction, and project management. As a Project Architect, you will play a key role in overseeing and executing architectural projects from concept to completion. As a Project Architect with us, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of architectural projects from conception to completion. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to coordinate project teams, manage resources, and ensure successful project outcomes within scope, schedule, and budget constraints. Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations, in collaboration with architects, designers, and stakeholders. 2. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, including architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors, to achieve project goals and deliver high-quality work. 3. Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication, addressing inquiries, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle. 4. Risk Management: Identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies associated with projects, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impacts on project progress and outcomes. 5. Budget and Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, expenses, and financial performance, tracking costs against estimates, and implementing cost-saving measures where necessary. 6. Schedule Management: Develop project schedules, milestones, and critical path analyses, and oversee progress tracking to ensure timely completion of deliverables and milestones. 7. Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes and standards to ensure that project deliverables meet client requirements, industry standards, and firm guidelines. 8. Contract Administration: Review, negotiate, and administer contracts, agreements, and change orders with clients, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring compliance with legal and contractual obligations. 9. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, records, and reports, including meeting minutes, progress updates, and project status reports for internal and external stakeholders. 10. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, lessons learned, and best practices, and implement strategies to enhance project management efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field is required; PMP or other project management certifications are preferred. - 5+ years of experience in project management roles, with a proven track record of successfully managing architectural projects of varying sizes and complexities. - Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, with proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar tools. - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on achieving project objectives while balancing competing priorities and constraints. - Familiarity with architectural design processes, construction practices, building codes, and regulations. - Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines. - Commitment to quality, professionalism, and client satisfaction, with a proactive and results-oriented approach to project management.
