Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Technician
Location: Orlando, FL (on-site)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (Overtime as needed)
About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician to assemble, disassemble, test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic-mechanical equipment in a customer-focused environment. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of electrical systems, precision measuring tools, and mechanical components, with a proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble, disassemble, and repair electro-mechanical equipment
Perform quality testing and troubleshooting
Read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and test procedures
Solder to the component level
Operate electronic measuring tools (oscilloscope, signal analyzers, etc.)
Build and troubleshoot wiring harnesses
Maintain accurate repair documentation
Use hand/power tools, calipers, and other measuring devices
Work with motors, clutches, bearings, and other mechanical components
Ensure safe and efficient task execution
Maintain punctuality and strong work ethic
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Background Profile
Associate's degree or equivalent military experience in an electrical field
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Electro-Mechanical Technician
Knowledge of 12V automotive and 120V AC electrical systems
Understanding of DC-AC theory, solid-state electronics, audio/video signals
Basic computer proficiency
Familiarity with clutch and bearing systems
Fluent in English (written and verbal)
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
