Production & Sewing Department Manager Location: Cleveland Ohio Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Mon - Fri 830am to 5pm Salary: $50k to $70K About the Role: We are seeking a highly organized and adaptable Production & Sewing Department Manager to oversee and lead our production and sewing departments. This is a hands-on management role requiring strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills in a high-demand, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Manage all daily operations within the production and sewing departments Ensure production deadlines and quality standards are consistently met Provide hands-on support to team members to help complete orders when needed Troubleshoot issues with production flow, order fulfillment, and personnel Foster strong communication between departments and company leadership Address and resolve conflicts or concerns among staff and teams Promote an efficient, organized, and safe working environment Monitor supply and equipment needs; oversee proper tool/machine use Required Skills & Experience: Minimum high school diploma or GED required Prior experience in a supervisory or management role in production, manufacturing, or construction Proven ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure Experience using hand tools, power tools, tape measures, industrial sewing machines, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other production equipment Proficient with basic computer usage for managing schedules, reports, and inventory Skilled at managing large, diverse teams with a variety of personalities Ideal Candidate Qualities: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven Calm under pressure and comfortable managing stressful, high-demand workloads Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to handle difficult conversations professionally Physically capable of standing, bending, and lifting heavy materials Flexible and adaptable in changing work environments Preferred Qualifications: Specialized training, certifications, or education in production, construction, or related fields Experience as a Foreman, Team Lead, Site Lead, or Department Supervisor in an industrial setting Apply today to join a hardworking team where your leadership can make a real impact!
