Plate Roll Machine Operator

Position Responsibilities (willing to training):

• Operates plate rolling machines (3 and 4 roll) to form metal plates, sheets, or bars into arcs, cylinders, or cones, using blueprints and templates.
• Loads the sheets, plates, bars, etc. into rolls by hand or with overhead crane.
• Adjusts the rolling machines as needed for material thickness and required diameters.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Ability to work alone.
• Other sheet metal shop duties as assigned by shop foremen.

Summary of Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

• No experience is necessary , but familiarity in a metal fabrication environment is a plus.
• Understanding of different material properties and potential machine limitations.

  • 1st shift: Monday – Thursday 5:00am until 3:30pm
  • 2nd shift: Monday – Thursday 3:30pm until 1:30am
