Project Manager/Estimator - Structural Steel

Job Title: Project Manager/Estimator – Structural Steel Fabrication & Erection

Job Summary:
The Project Manager/Estimator will oversee structural steel fabrication and erection projects from bid to completion while preparing accurate cost estimates. This dual role requires managing turnkey projects and ensuring they meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in estimating and/or project management on turnkey structural steel construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for structural steel fabrication and erection projects.
• Manage turnkey projects, coordinating fabrication, delivery, and on-site erection.
• Review plans and specs to develop bids and ensure project scope accuracy.
• Oversee schedules, budgets, and resources to meet project deadlines.
• Collaborate with clients, fabricators, and field crews to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor progress and resolve issues to maintain quality and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in estimating and/or project management on turnkey structural steel projects.
• Preferred 5+ years of experience in estimating and project management on structural steel projects
• Knowledge of steel fabrication and erection processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with estimating tools such as Tekla is highly preferred
