Plant Foreman

We are a Tampa based manufacturer of precast architectural stone and foam. We are looking for a Plant Worker with Supervisory duties to lead production and oversee the day-to-day operations of the shop including but not limited to managing staff, ensuring quality control, assigning work, ensuring work completion, training employees, maintaining equipment, and upholding safety standards within the shop floor, all while prioritizing efficient production and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities:
On a daily basis, complete assigned tasks as directed by manager and actively work in production.
Assist and monitor other shop worker performances, ensure completion of tasks at the end of the day, provide feedback, and
address any issues that arise.
Schedule work orders, prioritize tasks, and coordinate with other departments to maintain smooth workflow. Travel to and provide
assistance at job site locations as needed.
Ensure proper care and maintenance of shop tools and machinery/equipment, including preventative maintenance schedules.
Organize and keep account of all equipment and tool inventory.
Enforce safety regulations and procedures within the shop to prevent accidents.
Identify and resolve issues that may arise during production, including troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.
Monitor labor and material costs to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements:
Thorough understanding of or ability to quickly learn the manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment used in the shop.
Must be hands on to get the job done. This position will actively work in production.
Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Capability to analyze situations, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
Clear communication with shop workers, management, customers and other departments. Bilingual, English and Spanish would be
a plus.
Commitment to maintaining high quality standards in all aspects of production.
CDL license is a plus.
