Powerhouse Operator I

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Utility log rounds and meter readings.
• Operation of Boilers, Ammonia system, Water system, and Compressed air system.
• Facility repairs and maintenance including doors, drains, exhaust fans etc. and PMs.
• Required to be a HAZWOPER team member.
• Maintain good Housekeeping without direction.
• General Plumbing skills, including PVC, black iron, copper and stainless steel.
• Assist with energy savings and plant improvements.

Position Qualifications:

• Preferred experience with pipefitting, plumbing, rebuilding pumps, gearboxes, welding, layout and fabrication, and mechanical drawings.
• 2 years experience or technical training in the following areas (Refrigeration, Boiler operation, water treatment).
• Must take cardio pulmonary test.
• Good communication/teamwork skills.
• Willing to train on overtime and work holidays.

Shift: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and e/o Saturday; 8 p 8 a

Working Environments:

• Primarily indoors in both a hot, humid production environment and cold,

cooler environment.
