Land Surveyor Assistant (chainman)

Looking for a land surveyor assistant to help and learn from the lead surveyor and eventually run your own crew. Some experience is preferred but not required. You will learn and gain experience on the job. Looking for a quick learner and a focused individual to survey property boundaries and map topographic data for residential, commercial and telecom sites. Must be comfortable working outdoors 100% of the time in rural mountainous areas, in high traffic streets and highways, rooftops of buildings and remote areas. This is a full time position. Pay will be 1099 salary and based on experience. No overtime pay, benefits or insurance is offered. After the first 6 months, 10 vacation or personal time days will be earned.
