The position as a Licensed Land Surveyor (Office-Based) is responsible for the technical oversight and preparation of surveying deliverables in support of land development, municipal, and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include close collaboration with field crews, engineers, and clients to ensure the accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of all surveying documents. This role does not include department management or field responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical oversight and preparation of surveying deliverables.
  • Collaborate closely with field crews, engineers, and clients.
  • Ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of surveying documents.
  • Coordinate with public agencies for map reviews and approvals.
Essential Skills
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and survey-related software.
  • California Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in good standing.
  • 5+ years of experience in land surveying, including preparation of survey maps and legal documents.
  • Strong knowledge of boundary law, mapping procedures, and California Subdivision Map Act requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $170000.00/yr.
