Data Center Construction Helper

Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated and dependable OSP Helper to support our team in maintaining and expanding fiber infrastructure at our data center. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the installation, pulling, and routing of fiber optic and copper cables Support trenching, conduit installation, and handhole placement Help maintain accurate records of cable routes and infrastructure Perform basic testing and troubleshooting under supervision Ensure work areas are clean, safe, and organized Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent 0-2 years of experience in construction, cabling, or related field Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn Valid driver's license preferred Preferred Skills (Not Required): Familiarity with fiber optic cabling and splicing Experience using hand tools and power tools Knowledge of OSP construction practices What We Offer: On-the-job training and mentorship Opportunities for advancement into technician roles Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays A supportive and safety-focused work environment
