We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Foreman to oversee and manage our excavating projects. The Foreman will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of excavation processes and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of the excavation crew.

Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Operate and maintain excavation equipment as needed.

Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management.

Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site.

Train and mentor crew members to enhance their skills and performance.

Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.

Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Skills and Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in construction or excavation is preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in excavation or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of excavation techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans. null
