Machine Operator 17-17.50 an hour. Job Description Operate machines and testing equipment to build and assemble quality pumps for customers, following detailed work instructions. Learn to gauge products, move materials within work areas, and maintain documentation. Report quality alerts, repair defective parts, analyze defects, and participate in corrective action programs. Responsibilities Operate machines and testing equipment to build and assemble quality pumps. Learn and apply gauging techniques for products. Move materials and parts within cell work area and replenish stock. Maintain production, quality, and equipment documentation. Understand quality alerts and report issues to team lead. Repair defective or rejected production parts daily. Analyze defects and assist in corrective action programs. Essential Skills Manufacturing background with at least 2 years of experience in a production worker, operator, or assembler position. Assembly experience in manufacturing. Ability to lift 40 lbs. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with gauging products. Good tenure in previous positions. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a newly renovated facility in Warren, Michigan, featuring advanced machinery including CNC machinist lines, conveyors, carousel assembly equipment, and robotic weld cells. Engage with cutting-edge technologies like hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. The plant supports major automotive clients and offers a collaborative and motivated team environment with a focus on growth and development. Dress code requires safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, and steel toes. Operate on a 3rd shift schedule from 11PM to 7:30AM, with flexibility for 7 days a week. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Michigan. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
