HVAC Service Technician

This is not meant to be an exhaustive list, and these may change over time.Core Values:TrustworthyPositive Work EthicTeam PlayerResponsibilities:Performs pre-functional inspections/checklist and start-up of commercial HVAC systemsPerforms installation, diagnostic and repairs on HVAC systems at time of startup and warranty periodReading of and understanding of control wiring and high voltage wiring diagramsInterprets blue prints, submittal data and installation/operation manuals to provide complete startup per manufactures recommendationsDocuments work by completing all paperwork on each job for each piece of equipment.Assist installation mechanics in completing and mounting of field installed devices on equipment prior to start up as neededTrouble shoot issues as they ariseWork with Commissioning agents as required and complete require documentationHAVA Technician Qualifications:Experience in installation and startup of HVAC equipment (residential and commercial)Must pass a able to pass a drug screenKnowledge of heat pumps and straight ac condensers, gas furnaces, air handlers, and package systems and zoning equipment. Knowledge of refrigerant cycles and charging methods. Must posses an EPA refrigerant certification.Knowledge of control and equipment sequence of operationsKnowledge of package units up to 10 tonsCommunication and customer service skillsComputer skills in using Microsoft office and/or IPad for generation of field reports/startup formsClean driving recordLimited travel may be required between Raleigh, Fayetteville, and at times the coast, no over night travel requiredPay based on experience
