Job Description
We are hiring a Maintenance Supervisor in Barnwell, SC. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead a team of maintenance professionals and contractors, manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities, and drive adherence to safety and operational standards in a manufacturing environment. This is a direct-hire opportunity.
Shift Information
Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Must be available to support a 24/7/365 manufacturing operation
Understanding of:
Electrical control systems (Servo Drives, PLCs)
Complex mechanical drive systems
Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Utilities: electrical, thermal oil, compressed air, HVAC
General Requirements
Proficient in Project Planner and CMMS systems
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization, from hourly associates to executive leadership
Proven ability to lead and manage a diverse technical team, including engineers, technicians, and skilled trades personnel

Essential Functions
Participate in hiring maintenance personnel
Supervise maintenance staff and contractors
Organize and lead maintenance training programs
Set shift schedules and work assignments
Support development of maintenance policies and procedures
Order necessary tools, supplies, and equipment
Respond to and resolve maintenance requests
Ensure project timelines are met
Lead safety inspections at work sites
Perform maintenance duties as needed
Evaluate work sites for maintenance needs
Escalate unresolved issues and propose solutions
Enforce adherence to company policies and procedures
Ensure team compliance with OSHA regulations
Implement maintenance best practices
Work through maintenance managers to enhance systems and processes
Working Conditions
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment
Must be able to respond and support production needs around the clock
Interaction required with internal departments and external vendors, contractors, and equipment suppliers
Physical Demands
Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, hear, and use hands/fingers
Must meet physical requirements typical of a manufacturing environment
Travel
Up to 5% travel required, including short-notice travel
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
3 years of maintenance experience
Preferred Education and Experience
5+ years of management experience in a maintenance or technical role
