TIG Welder Job Description Join our dynamic team as a TIG Welder, where you will support the manufacturing and fabrication process. You will be responsible for laying out, fitting, and welding fabricated and forged components to assemble structural forms, such as switch bases and frames, along with other components in our product line. Responsibilities Conduct lay outs and position, align, and fit metal components. Clamp and tack-weld parts to secure position for welding. Set up equipment and weld parts using arc or gas welding equipment. Document and record work completed, and materials scraped or rejected. Ensure the quality of parts being produced by checking specifications and material quality along with operating functionality. Essential Skills 4-5+ years of TIG Welding experience on carbon steel and aluminum. Ability to read blueprints. Proficiency in using measuring tools. Things are organized and welding areas are indoors. This is a heavy industrial environment requiring PPE. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 6am to 2:30pm. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
