Aluminim Welder - 1st or 2nd Shift GenMet Corp is in need of experienced

Aluminim Welders to join our team. We are looking for hardworking

professionals who enjoy meeting challenges and surpassing expectations.

The ideal candidates will have a background in fabrication and Aluminim

welding. We are in search of candidates who are looking for long-term,

secure and rewarding employment. Essential Duties: Follow safety rules

and expectations and use safe work practices. Utilize/interpret

blueprints/engineering drawings for setup, welding, and inspection of

parts to ensure customer specifications are met. Understand layout and

planned sequence of operations. Verify conformance of work piece to

specifications and quality standards. Prepare surfaces to be welded and

set up and assemble parts to be welded. Set up proper equipment for

different welding jobs. Capable of passing AWS certification for MIG and

or TIG Welding. Able to use conventional and precision measuring

instruments. Welder / Fabricators will also perform routine PM\'s on the

equipment and maintain a safe and orderly workplace. Qualifications:

MUST be Safety and Quality conscious. MUST be able to be certified to

AWS D1.1 welding standard, at a minimum. MUST be able to set up and weld

aluminum. Ability to set up jobs from blueprints Math abilities to solve

problems and perform inspection High School Diploma or GED, PLUS 2 years

welding fabrication experience or an equivalent combination of education

and experience. Must meet the physical requirements for this position as

follows: Stand or Sit, Move, Use hands/Fingers to handle or feel, stoop,

kneel, talk/hear, see, carry weight/lift (up to 50lb\'s) Cultural
