Our client, a leader in data center infrastructure development, is seeking a Construction Project Engineer 5 to join their team. As a Construction Project Engineer 5, you will be part of the Data Center Development (DCD) team, supporting MEP and Construction Management teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Construction Project Engineer 5

Location: Boydton, VA (Onsite)
Pay Range: $70/hr. - $75.00/hr.

Whats the Job?
  • Lead and coordinate all on-site MEP-related construction activities.

  • Manage RFIs and resolve design conflicts with engineering teams.

  • Ensure compliance with project standards, safety protocols, and DCD guidelines.

  • Collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to drive schedule adherence.

  • Support field testing, commissioning, and turnover of MEP systems.

Whats Needed?
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).

  • 10+ years of experience in MEP engineering or construction, preferably in data center environments.

  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, CAD software, and technical schematics.

  • Proven ability to manage complex construction projects with multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems integration and operations.
