Civil Drafter

Job Description

Actalent is seeking to hire a drafter, who will utilize Civil 3D and AutoCAD to complete designs for commercial, residential, and municipal projects. The role involves reviewing and editing engineering drawings and documentation with a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Complete designs using Civil 3D and AutoCAD for various projects.
• Review and edit engineering drawings and documentation.
• Apply engineering techniques and procedures to execute complex features or solutions.
• Use professional judgment to make necessary modifications.
• Support design/build projects through MEP software and knowledge of piping design software.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Experience in civil engineering, land development, and MEP engineering.
• 2-7 years of experience in a consulting engineering firm or design-build company.
• Understanding of construction, design, and engineering principles.

• Experience with MEP software.
• Familiarity with piping design software.
• Ability to manage overall design delivery, including strategies, scope, and timing of deliverables.

The position is based in a large office space in North Fresno, working with a team of 6 engineers, 2 project managers, and 3 interns. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm. The pay range for this position is $32.72 - $40.59/hr.
