Project Engineer

Hays is working with a phenomenal growing civil general contractor. This is a medium-sized family-owned civil contractor who is looking to add a Project Engineer to their team. They work on NYCDDC, MTA, and NYSDOT design-build projects valued over 100 million dollars. They pay for health care fully and offer a 401k, car allowance, and yearly bonus. There is plenty of room to grow and move up in the company and make a career for yourself! Responsibilities Ensure project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines. Responsible for RFIs, change orders. budgets, schedules, and submittals. Processes owner billings and project related accounting issues. Work directly with the Project Manager and attend meetings with them. Help with morning safety meetings and communicate with the subcontractors. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a Construction Related Degree. 1 - 3 years' of experience with civil construction projects as a Project Engineer or Field Engineer. Preferred experience with Bluebeam, Procore, HCSS and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to travel throughout the New York City Area. #LI-DNI #1169593 - John Baxter
