Spot Welder Operator

Spot Welder (Direct Hire) Job Description We are looking for a skilled and reliable Spot Welder Operator to join our growing team on the 2nd shift. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating an Amada Spot Welding machine, handling sheet metal components, and ensuring high-quality welds. This position also includes secondary tasks such as grinding, deburring, and material handling. Responsibilities Set up and operate Amada Spot Welding machines according to job specifications. Load and unload sheet metal parts (15-50 lbs.) safely and efficiently. Run pre-programmed welding operations and make basic machine adjustments as needed. Performquality checksto ensure weld integrity and part accuracy. Assist withgrinding and deburringof welded parts to meet finish requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocols. Essential Skills 2+ years of experience in Spot Weld setup and operation. 1+ year of experience in blueprint reading. Ability to lift 50+ lbs. Proficiency in reading a tape measure and understanding tolerance. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to read blueprints. Ability to perform shop math. Prior experience in spot welding.
