Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Panel Builder to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing industrial electrical panels and systems based on electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. You will help ensure we bring panel production back in-house, maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble and wire control panels, switchgear, and subassemblies according to detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, NEC and UL standards.

Follow standardized work instructions and procedures to ensure consistent quality and output.

Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized jigs or fixtures to build panels.

Interpret complex schematics, ladder diagrams, and point-to-point wiring documentation.

Perform quality checks and functional tests to validate completed assemblies.

Accurately log work hours and tasks in ERP systems (e.g., SAP).

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment using 5S principles.

Participate in continuous improvement efforts and daily team meetings.

Work closely with supervisors and team leads under direct supervision.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Minimum of 1 year of relevant hands-on experience in electrical assembly or panel building.

Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and diagrams.

Proficiency using hand tools and power tools.

Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

Knowledge of safety practices, NEC and UL codes preferred.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.

Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.

Technical school or vocational training in electronics or electrical assembly.

Salary range:

$46,600.00 - $74,600.00
