Job Description

Raymond West is looking for a diligent Contract Specialist to join our Renewed team! The Contract Specialist plays a critical role in the oversight and lifecycle management of lease and usage contracts for the Renewed Equipment division. This position supports internal account teams by managing contract expirations, facilitating renewals, and supporting end-of-term equipment return processes. The Contract Specialist ensures accurate and timely ERP entries related to equipment acquisitions and transfers and serves as the final approval authority for residual lease agreements. A high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and proactive coordination are essential in this role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary duties and responsibilities will vary with the specific position. Typical responsibilities are listed below. This list is not inclusive.

Prepare detailed reporting on active Lease and Usage contracts, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for internal teams.

Collaborate with account teams to manage expiring contracts by reviewing documentation and supporting strategies including extensions, lease-to-own conversions, or direct purchases.

Monitor active Usage contracts and recommend equipment additions, subtractions, or replacements based on utilization data and customer needs.

Manage all end-of-term processes for lease and usage returns, including decommissioning, inspection coordination, and asset return logistics to appropriate Raymond West facilities.

Enter and maintain ERP records for all usage-related inventory acquisitions, transfers, and status changes.

Review and approve residual lease agreements to ensure financial and operational alignment.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex contracts and lease terms.

Proven ability to manage multiple contracts and timelines simultaneously.

Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems strongly preferred.

Comfortable communicating with multiple internal departments and stakeholders.

Analytical mindset with the ability to identify contract trends and recommend process improvements.

Ability to work independently while managing time effectively to meet deadlines.

Education/Experience:

Minimum Education and Experience: Determined by position

Recommended preferred experience: bachelor's degree and 2 years of increasingly more responsible administrative experience.

1-year minimum related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Range:

The hourly range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00. The specific pay offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.

Qualified candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
