Now Hiring Blow Mold Operator in York, PA! Rotating Schedule Night Shift 7p-7:30a Pay: $22/hr Job Description The Machine Operator is responsible for operating blow-mold machines, grinders, trimmer machines, and conveyor systems. This role involves troubleshooting process problems, performing minor maintenance, and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure the efficient operation of the production line. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and applicable laws and regulations. Operate blow-mold machines to produce quality bottles and perform audits, weights, and quality checks. Adhere to quality control and blow mold process procedures. Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on blow-mold and support equipment. Make adjustments to meet product specifications. Participate in preventive maintenance and mechanical changes. Grind excess bottle and material. Troubleshoot and resolve process problems. Prepare maintenance request forms and document equipment repairs. Document daily production reports, including rejects, regrinds, and line efficiencies. Receive instructions on specific job tasks from Lead Operator or Supervisor. Maintain a clean work station and assist with mold changes and machine setups. Essential Skills Strong mechanical aptitude. Manufacturing experience. Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance. Basic mathematical skills. Basic computer experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Completion of Machine Operator I training within 90 days of hire. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure. Experience with direct blow molding machine setup and operation. Ability to collaborate well and proactively contribute to group objectives. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
