DIESEL MECHANIC Description: If you're looking for a job ASAP and you have experience working on diesel engines, then this is the position for you! A leading construction and equipment company in Gretna is looking for Diesel Mechanics to join the team and assist with fleet and heavy equipment maintenance and repair. The company is looking for mechanics to start right away, so we will provide a rapid interview process to get you working as soon as possible! Responsibilities: Perform maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles including side dumps, tandem axle dumps, and heavy equipment Diagnose engine and system issues using diesel diagnostic software Overhaul and repair small engines, rock crushing engines, and construction equipment Complete all maintenance tasks efficiently and to high standards Occasionally perform field repairs when equipment cannot be moved Skills: Diesel Engine Repair Heavy Equipment Maintenance Hydraulics and Pneumatics Welding and Fabrication Diagnostic Software (Diesel Laptop) Experience in Construction Equipment is a plus but not required Additional Qualifications: 6+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic Proficiency with diesel diagnostic laptops Familiarity with cranes, excavators, loaders, and skid steers Class A CDL preferred Must be able to bring personal tools to the shop Experience Level: Expert Level Location: Gretna, NE (Primarily shop-based with occasional fieldwork) Apply right now and expect a call/text from Andrew.
