Tiello has partnered with a highly successful Construction Manager in the Ocean City, MD area on their search for a Project Manager for Commercial Ground-Up construction projects up to $150MM. The Project Manager will serve as the company's point of contact both with the client and with the construction team when required. You will engage in and influence the safety culture and have the authority to make decisions on the General Contractor's behalf about such items as cost and schedule. Title: Project Manager -Commercial & K-12 Construction Location: Ocean City, Maryland Salary Range: $120K-$140K Project Types: K-12 educational buildings and commercial facilities Duties & Responsibilities: Oversee coordination of contractors, architects, engineers, consultants, and school district representatives.. Set up and implement job procedures and techniques to assure timely buyout, shop drawing approval, and material delivery. Oversee and Develop and maintain a good relationship with Owner, Architect, and Subcontractors Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution for commercial and K-12 school construction projects. Work with Superintendents to develop safety plans and to implement safety procedures Ensure compliance with DSA (Division of the State Architect) regulations and other public sector requirements. Oversee and mentor the project staff to foster a positive team setting Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 5-7 years of experience managing commercial construction and/or K-12 school projects. Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field or a combination of relevant experience and education. PMP or equivalent certification is preferred. Proficiency in project management tools such as Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, or Primavera P6.
