ABOUT THE POSITION:

The Interior Design Consultant at our high-end furniture showroom is a key member of our design team, creating exquisite and personalized interiors for our clientele. This individual possesses a sophisticated design sensibility, a deep understanding of luxury materials and craftsmanship, and exceptional client relationship skills. They will work closely with clients, often high-net-worth individuals, to understand their vision and translate it into elegant and functional spaces. This role requires a passion for high-end design, a commitment to unparalleled customer service, and the ability to curate truly exceptional interiors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

High-End Client Consultation & Design Development: Conduct in-depth consultations with clients, often in their homes, to understand their design aspirations, lifestyle, and specific needs. Develop comprehensive design proposals, including detailed space plans, furniture layouts, material specifications, and 3D renderings, showcasing a sophisticated and refined aesthetic.

Curated Furniture & Accessory Selection: Source and select furniture, fabrics, finishes, and accessories from our showroom's curated collection and beyond, incorporating custom pieces as appropriate. Provide expert guidance on product selection, considering factors such as style, scale, comfort, and investment value.

Luxury Project Management: Manage all aspects of the design project, from initial concept development to final installation, with meticulous attention to detail. Coordinate with architects, contractors, and artisans to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to the highest standards of quality.

Presentation & Client Relationship Management: Present design concepts and product selections to clients in a compelling and professional manner, often in-home. Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional service and building trust. Effectively address client feedback and manage expectations throughout the design process.

Market Expertise & Trend Forecasting: Maintain an in-depth understanding of the high-end design market, including emerging trends, designer collaborations, and exclusive product offerings. Attend prestigious industry events and trade shows to stay at the forefront of luxury design.
Collaboration & Showroom Support: Collaborate closely with the sales team, showroom management, and other internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and a cohesive brand experience. Contribute to the showroom's overall success by assisting with visual merchandising and maintaining a deep understanding of our product offerings.

Brand Advocacy & Representation: Serve as a brand ambassador, embodying the sophistication and elegance of Cantoni Group. Represent the company with professionalism and discretion in client interactions and industry events.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or a related field/Equivalent Experience

Significant experience as an Interior Designer in the high-end residential or luxury hospitality market.

Exceptional design portfolio showcasing a refined aesthetic and a range of high-end projects.

Deep understanding of design principles, space planning, furniture construction, material selection, and high-end craftsmanship.

Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship skills, with the ability to interact effectively with high-net-worth individuals.

Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar programs.

Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and meet deadlines with precision.

Passion for luxury design and an unwavering commitment to providing unparalleled customer service.
