Operations Manager- (Keller's Flea Market)

Keller’s Flea Market is searching for highly-motivated, self-starter, team oriented and energetic Operations Manager to join our family Full Time. This position is responsible for overall operations of the market and the effective and successful management of Food and Beverage, Grounds Maintenance, Janitorial Crew, and Facility Operations. Ensure safe and efficient operations of all departments as well and carry out supervisory responsibilities of staff working in all departments. Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills. Must have a general working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.

Duties will include:

• Assist with market events and promotions
• Understands basic office operations
• Determines corrective or preventative measures for health standards.
• Direct and manage general cleanup of marketplace, restroom attendants and those working on projects
• Direct and provide preventative maintenance on equipment
• Direct and supervise all employees
• Direct team members engaged in ground maintenance activities
• Ensures daily tasks for all departments are completed
• Ensures departments of Food and Beverage, Facilities Management, Ground Maintenance and Janitorial Crew at Flea Market are ready to open for business
• Ensures lawn maintenance and painting projects are completed in a timely manner
• Ensures the marketplace follows local, state, and federal, OSHA regulations.
• Evaluate all repairs needed to operate and reduce the need to hire outside repair service to help reduce cost.
• Fuels all company trucks, equipment, and gas cans
• Maintain and repair all items needing to operate from plumbing, electric, refrigeration, ride maintenances, cart maintenance and any other item needing repair at Market
• Maintains accurate inventory for Food and Beverage Operations
• Maintains kitchen area
• Maintains records of all required documentation and certifications of all staff
• Maintains valid ServSafe Manager Certificate
• Maintains, troubleshoots, and helps repair: Refrigeration Systems, AC Units, Concession Equipment, Food Carts, and Bathrooms
• Makes sure all necessary tools and materials to perform jobs are available and equipment is operational
• Manage scheduling to ensure accurate coverage in all departments
• Manage the completion of improvement projects at Market by organizing all aspects of the projects such as needed material, work assignments and completion date.
• Performs activities of those supervised and leads by good example
• Receive deliveries for concessions
• Recognizes and correct traffic or parking issues before and while they are happening
• Supervise and assist team members in clearing the property of trash and waste
• Trains team members to follow safety standards and standard operating procedure.
• Uses correct tools and equipment as needed
• Uses phone, radio and Email to maintain efficient running of the marketplace.
• Performs other duties as assigned
