Job Description We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead the development, implementation, continuous improvement, and ongoing compliance of all safety programs. This includes the Hazardous Communication Program, Respiratory Protection Program, Silica Exposure Program, and others. Your proactive leadership will guide the organization in risk management and promote safety stewardship at all levels. Responsibilities
- Lead the organization in establishing measurable safety metrics and creating organizational safety goals.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other safety requirements.
- Coordinate and deliver all safety training, including OSHA-required sessions, annual refreshers, new hire orientations, safety leadership, and weekly toolbox talks.
- Oversee and manage the motor vehicle safety program, ensuring DOT compliance and coordinating CMV and POV driving requirements.
- Conduct accident investigations, perform root cause analyses, and implement proactive safety practices to reduce risk.
- Manage all workers' compensation claims, including OSHA recordable and reportable injuries, and oversee the light duty program.
- Conduct safety inspections on work sites, correct errors, and coach onsite employees and leaders on safe practices and regulations.
- Audit monthly Superintendent Safety inspections and assist with the correction of any deficiencies.
- Serve as the subject matter expert in OSHA requirements for construction and lead interactions with OSHA, including responding to inquiries and on-site visits.
- Coordinate annual respirator fit testing.

- Knowledge of fall protection systems
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of construction safety-related experience
