Safety precautions to be used with chemicals found in paint and paint removal products.
Surface preparation materials and methods, paint mixing.
Types of rigging used in painting.
Safety precautions critical to the correct removal of asbestos materials.
Ability to:
Mix and match paint colors.
Work from scaffolding, ladders, ladder trucks, platform trucks, and bucket trucks.
Follow necessary safety measures when dealing with asbestos and paint preparation chemicals.
Work at heights over 40 feet and up to 150 feet.
Works in confined spaces and underground.
Repair broken glass.
Drive a light truck.
Lift 100 pounds.
MILITARY EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE EVALUATION Military education and experience may be substituted for college level course work at the lower and upper division baccalaureate and graduate levels and apprenticeship training at the vocational certificate level on a case by case basis based on the American Council on Education (ACE) Military Guide recommendations.
