**Job Description**

Join a global leader in copper and copper alloy manufacturing, processing, and distribution, with a focus on providing a diverse product and service portfolio to industries such as power, automotive, refrigeration, and electronics. As a part of our growing team, we are seeking a skilled painter to support our production ramp-up at our Delaware location.

**Responsibilities**

+ Complete paint finishing on produced items.

+ Prepare projects for painting.

+ Utilize various paint equipment including HVLP, paint booth, sander, etc.

+ Cross-train on various other jobs where help is needed, including production and general labor tasks.

+ Assist in maintaining a clean facility.

+ Stay actively engaged during working hours and support team efforts where needed.

**Essential Skills**

+ 2 years of experience as an industrial/automotive painter.

+ Proficiency in using various painting equipment such as HVLP, paint booth, and spray gun.

+ Experience in painting equipment, completing paint preparation, sanding, and buffing.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ High School Diploma or GED required.

+ Ability to perform physical labor throughout the workday.

+ Capability to regularly lift and move items up to 50 pounds.

+ Proactive in proposing solutions.

+ Good verbal communication skills.

+ Prior forklift experience (2 years or more).

+ Willingness to work other shifts as required.

**Work Environment**

Work in a clean, comfortable, and organized non-climate controlled machine shop and weld shop, alongside 12 other professionals on the production floor. The schedule is currently 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, with flexibility to move to a four-day work week, Monday to Thursday, from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, and potential weekend shifts from 6 AM to 6 PM.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delaware, Ohio.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
