Job Description: The Fleet Refrigeration Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing refrigeration units on a fleet of vehicles and maintaining mechanical integrity of the fleet. This includes diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring all units are operating efficiently and safely. Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair refrigeration, mechanical and electrical issues on refrigeration and power units
• Perform preventative maintenance on units to ensure optimal performance
• Ensure all units are operating efficiently and safely
• Document all repairs and maintenance performed
• Communicate with drivers regarding any issues or concerns
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Refrigeration certification or equivalent experience
• Experience working with refrigeration units on vehicles and mechanical repairs including diesel engines
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills
• Ability to diagnose and repair issues efficiently and effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (CDL preferred)
