MIG/TIG Welder - 1st and 2nd Shift Available**
**Job Description**
This position involves the manufacturing of stainless steel tanks primarily for the dairy industry, focusing on food-grade or sanitary welds. The role requires expertise in TIG welding, grinding, and fabrication, with the opportunity for in-house MIG certification.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum using Lincoln and Miller welders.
+ Execute welding in various positions including flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead.
+ Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, bolt, custom fabricate, or grind materials as necessary to create a welded final product.
+ Manage processes of fitting, burning, and welding to prevent issues related to overheating, distortion, expansion, or shrinking of parts.
+ Read and comprehend basic prints/drawings.
+ Problem-solve fabrication tasks effectively.
+ Demonstrate proficiency in overhead welding.
**Essential Skills**
+ 3 years of experience in TIG welding.
+ Proficiency in welding stainless steel.
+ Ability to read blueprints and prints.
+ Experience in fitting and assembly.
+ Skills in fabrication and grinding.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 3 years of experience in print reading and fabrication.
+ Experience with sheet metal.

**Work Environment**
Work is conducted on the 1st shift from Monday to Thursday, 5am to 3:30pm, with mandatory work on Fridays. The environment is a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility with advanced technology. The PTO structure includes 5 paid vacation days and 3 paid personal days for new hires, increasing to 2 weeks' vacation and 3 personal days after one year. There are 11 paid holidays and a paid day off on your birthday. Attendance policies allow for one unexcused call-in and one excused absence per year, with a progressive disciplinary system for additional unexcused absences.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
