Tank Welder**

**Job Description**

We are seeking an experienced Tank Welder to lead a team and oversee the repair and new construction of tanks. The ideal candidate will have expertise in API 650 & 653 standards and excel in both visual and non-destructive testing methods.

**Responsibilities**

+ Oversee a team of 4-6 as a working foreman.

+ Apply knowledge of API 650 & 653 for tank repair and new construction.

+ Perform visual and/or non-destructive testing in accordance with API 653.

+ Generate reports summarizing inspection and associated findings.

+ Participate in safety training and daily safety activities.

+ Complete inspection forms and document findings.

+ Assemble final reports summarizing the inspection.

+ Work on multiple projects simultaneously and mentor/develop team members.

+ Ensure work is completed professionally, meeting customer needs within budget and on time.

+ Create field sketches illustrating equipment and/or associated piping.

+ Read and understand P&IDs and weld symbols.

+ Submit weekly timesheets for the crew.

**Essential Skills**

+ 3+ years of experience in tank welding.

+ 1+ years of experience in a foreman role.

+ Proficiency in welding, blueprint reading, assembly, and mechanical skills.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience with HMT and Smith Tanks is a plus.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $42.00/hr.
