Door & Hardware Estimator

The Estimator reports to the General Manager. Determines specific product information based on an examination of project plans and specifications. This includes specific information related to each door frame, door, door hardware, millwork and any other customer requirements. Responsibilities include customer service, door and frame takeoffs and creation of estimates. Extensive product knowledge and computer operating system familiarity are required.

Required Qualifications

- Experience with door and hardware industry estimating experience

- Good overall knowledge of doors, frames, hardware and installation procedures.

- Experience working with contractors

- High level of integrity with a strong results oriented work ethic

- Team player who is interested in and committed to company excellence

- Works well under pressure and effectively manages stress

- Ability to multi-task, flexible and adaptable to rapid change

- Strong attention to detail with high level of accuracy & quality control

- Ability to effectively schedule & deliver estimates on time

- Ability to effectively communicate with management team, customers & vendors and to communicate in group situations as well as one on one.

- Computer knowledge, including Word, Excel

- CDC or AHC certification IS A benefit
