Role Description:

As a Slack Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the infrastructure of our Slack environment. This includes understanding the software, architecture, authentication mechanisms, add-ons, and integrations.

Knows when its appropriate to push a vendor or escalate an issue when the vendor isnt responding appropriately

Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain Slacks infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability.

Understand Slacks software and architecture to optimize performance and scalability.

Implement and manage authentication mechanisms and security features within the Slack environment.

Oversee the integration of add-ons and plugins to enhance Slacks functionality.

Ensure seamless integration of Slack with other systems and applications.

Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues as they arise.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various business units and their Slack usage.
