Job Summary:

PROLIM is seeking a skilled

Network Design Engineer

for our top client,

Meta

, based in Fremont, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated engineer to join a dynamic environment focused on network design, device provisioning, and implementation of upgrades in a data center setting.

Responsibilities:

Adjust network sizes to meet volume or capacity demands

Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs, and upgrades

Determine hardware/software requirements (platforms, bandwidths, etc.)

Design, build, or operate configuration prototypes

Work closely with cross-functional teams to assess user needs and deliver effective solutions

Execute Python scripts and apply automation in network tasks

Minimum Requirements:

2+ years

of experience in

Network Engineering

,

Linux/Unix

, and

Python

Basic knowledge of computer hardware related to data storage

Familiarity with configuration management software, OS software, and directory services

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in

data center engineering

Previous experience working with

Meta

Strong documentation skills (runbooks, playbooks, wikis)

Soft Skills:

Strong attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong problem-solving and time management abilities

Customer service orientation

Team player with the ability to work independently

Punctual and reliable
