What You'll Do
As the Underground Mining Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and managing the underground activities including the underground equipment, Assets and Tools and responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operation of the equipment used in the underground operations. Other duties include:
Lead safety compliance and ensure adherence to DN HSE Performance Standards and regulations.
Manage and develop underground team members, providing training and support as needed.
Foster relationships with customers and distributors while representing the organization at meetings and events.
Oversee financial aspects related to underground operations, managing initiatives and participating in financial res.
Prepare and present monthly reports to relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate with the Site Manager and Director of Commercial Operations on various strategic reports and presentations.
Identify and mitigate potential schedule risks while optimizing processes for improved efficiency and cost savings.
Work consistent with company policies and procedures from applicable technical modules, DNA Underground Blasting SOP, Explosives Management System, work site, regulatory and safety policies, and procedures
Respond professionally and timely to address problems and business requests.
Prioritize resources, staff, and equipment to align with organizational objectives.
Direct the development and training of team members, including safety training initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in mining engineering or equivalent is required
8 years of mining experience, Minimum 5 years experience, implementing and supporting product and/or solutions to the North American Underground Mining, Construction or Quarrying segments.
Proven track record in managing teams in safety, technical applications, sales, and account management.
Extensive Safety knowledge and past training of UG Safety practices in UG Mining, Quarrying & Construction
Knowledge of UG Mining methods in Metal, Quarrying and Construction applications
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds
