Machine Operator**
**Job Description**
As a Machine Operator, you will perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation across multiple pieces of machinery. You will operate and monitor equipment to ensure quality production and minimize unplanned stops. This role requires working in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, following standardized work processes, and adhering to safety practices within a continuous improvement setting.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup.
+ Operate and monitor multiple pieces of equipment during production.
+ Load and unload items on the production line, including packaging.
+ Start and stop the production line as needed to maintain workflow and safety.
+ Inspect products for defects and remove faulty items from the line.
+ Produce products within 100% specification as requested by the customer.
+ Deliver products to meet scheduled customer demands and quality objectives.
+ Collaborate with manufacturing staff on quality and production-related issues.
+ Read and understand ruler and traceability records.
+ Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
**Essential Skills**
+ Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions.
+ Ability to read blueprints and take measurements with a ruler.
+ Ability to run and operate similar equipment.
+ 3+ years experience with operating machinery and inspection in a similar function or environment.
+ Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
+ Knowledge of key areas of the manufacturing process.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with production, machine operation, assembly, and general production.
+ Proficiency in using hand tools and tape measure.
