If you are soon to graduate or are newly graduated and have up to 5 years of experience, we have a great opportunity for you to join our growing Electrical and Controls team as our new Electrical Engineer EI.

This opportunity based in Oregon and can be in either our Beaverton or Salem office.

Job Summary:

The Electrical Engineer EI works directly with a senior member of the team on various projects to grow their experience and responsibilities. They will have the chance to work with and be mentored by a wide pool of engineers with varying specialties and abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of engineering design and technical reports
  • Assist our team in preparation of drawings, specifications, estimates, and presentations
  • Gather information for project design decisions, including site assessments
  • Work with multiple engineering disciplines and professionals in project coordination under the direction of a senior engineer
  • Perform field work related to construction related services as needed
  • Review submittals from construction and respond to requests for information
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associates degree in electrical engineering technology with 3+ years computer aided drafting experience or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related fields
  • Decision-making skills and the ability to collaborate with other engineers to solve complex problems.
  • Able to work independently and ask for help when needed
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Proficient in AutoCAD a plus
  • Successful passing of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam a plus
