Apprentice - Industrial Electrician (Automotive)

Your Key Responsibilities

• Working alongside and taking direction from the journeyperson for the associated discipline
• Perform routine electrical work on industrial machinery
• Able to use/ learn to use measuring instruments, crane, and forklift as required
• Read drawings and communicate any issues to Leader / Journeyperson
• Troubleshoot machine irregularities and breakdowns
• Identify and or repair/replace defective machine parts, tooling and equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on industrial equipment
• Work within company health and safety policies, practices, and standards

Your Qualifications

• Education:

• Grade 12 diploma

• Pursuing or planning to pursue the Electrician License (442A)

• Experience: Demonstrated competency all facets of cell/department operations and high level of electrical aptitude and/or hold certification in skills related to associated discipline.

• Skills: Knowledge of production and quality systems.
