Job Summary Midland Asphalt Materials Inc., a subsidiary of Barrett Industries Corporation, provides advanced pavement preservation solutions for our customers' needs. We are currently looking for Asphalt Distributor Operators in Clearfield, PA. This is a full-time seasonal construction position.Main Responsibilities

Operate an asphalt distributor and apply specialized emulsions to roads

Coordinate with Foreman for application rate and special instructions

Understand the different emulsions and how to use each one safely and effectively

Keep track of time and quantities of each project and communicate that to dispatch office

Perform related duties such as shovel work, setting string line, adding or removing extensions, and changing spray nozzles

Experience and Physical Requirements

Must have a valid Class B CDL with Airbrakes and Tanker Endorsements and good driving record

Class A CDL, Hazmat Endorsement preferred

Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Regularly required to climb in and out of vehicles and/or equipment

Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

Regularly required to stand and walk across uneven terrain

Frequent exposure to loud noise

Regularly exposed to all outdoor weather conditions, dust, and airborne particles; exposure to high temperatures

Regularly exposed to fuel, oil, and other chemicals

Required to work varying hours, including nights/weekends, and overnight travel with overnight stays
