Pipefitter - Kalamazoo, MI $30.00 - $40.00 per hour 7:00am - 3:30pm Job Description We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented pipefitter to join our team. The pipefitter will be responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems in commercial, industrial, or residential settings. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprints, piping specifications, and safety regulations. Responsibilities Assemble, install, maintain, and repair piping systems. Read and interpret blueprints and piping specifications. Fit overhead pipe ranging from 2 1/2" up to 8'" carbon steel. Fit overhead copper using solder and Pro Press techniques. Hang pipe racks efficiently and safely. Fit underground welded carbon steel pipe. Perform threading, welding, installation, brazing, and mechanical fittings. Install piping systems and sprinkler systems. Conduct blueprint reading for commercial construction projects. Essential & Qualifications Experience with fitting overhead pipe and copper. Experience with hanging pipe racks. Proficiency in fitting underground welded carbon steel pipe. Knowledge of blueprint reading and construction. Experience in industrial pipe welding and installation.
