Project Estimator

The Project Estimator is responsible for preparing detailed and precise cost estimates for projects across various industrial disciplines. This includes material takeoffs, labor estimates, subcontractor scopes, and vendor pricing. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of construction drawings and specifications, and the ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracted work. Interpret and analyze engineering drawings, project plans, and customer specifications across multiple disciplines. Compile accurate material and labor takeoffs. Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitive and complete pricing. Collaborate with project managers to ensure all relevant project costs are accounted for. Prepare and format professional proposals and bid packages for client presentation. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, pricing, and best practices. Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a project estimator, preferably in the industrial or construction sector. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite , especially Excel. Strong ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications. Solid understanding of industry standards and estimating practices. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
