Position Overview Key Duties and Responsibilities Create, build, and evaluate products to ensure they align with customer expectations. Prepare and assess detailed manufacturing drawings for newly engineered items. Offer technical support for products to both in-house teams and external clients. Organize and monitor the progress of product development projects. Manage client communication and update relevant technical documentation. Assist in the creation and refinement of design schematics as necessary. Adhere to all corporate safety standards and protocols. Adapt to changing priorities and perform additional tasks as assigned. Education and Background Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering from an accredited four-year institution. Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in product design. Essential Skills and Knowledge Proficient in 3D CAD software, Finite Element Analysis, and Fluid Dynamics simulation. Strong written and spoken communication abilities. Familiar with using databases, online tools, spreadsheets, and word processing applications. Collaborative and effective in team-based environments. Preferred Qualifications and Expertise Experience with Autodesk Inventor and Vault software. At least one year of experience designing Gate or Butterfly Valves. Solid understanding of corrosion prevention and management. Familiarity with internal combustion engine operating principles. Strong background in thermodynamics. Experience in designing pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic valve actuation systems. Knowledge of DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process).
